The Project was located near Indira Gandhi International Airport and it was meant to provide catering facilities to the passengers using airways.
Project:
This was the second Flight Kitchen promoted by Indian Hotels Company (IHC) after one in Mumbai. M/s Sharat Das and Associates were the Principal Architects and Design Action Group were its Associate Architects.
The Total built up area of the Flight Kitchen was 10,000 sq. mt. and it included all facilities for receipt of raw material to dispatch of set meals. It was a process based design, requiring high degree of hygienic conditions.
Design Exercise was carried out based on study of Taj Flight Kitchen of Mumbai and intense interactions with the Team of Experts of IHC at Mumbai.
